Coordination on Issues Arising at the Azerbaijani-Armenian State Border, Says Guliyev
Coordination is underway regarding issues that have arisen at the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border, stated Elchin Guliyev, head of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan.
According to him, the State Border Service of Azerbaijan attaches great importance to both bilateral and multilateral cooperation, emphasizing the implementation and development of such cooperation at bilateral, regional, and international levels.
"Meetings and consultations are being held with representatives of Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Turkey, and Iran, with the aim of jointly engaging with neighboring countries' border agencies to discuss new forms and methods for further cooperation. Coordination is being carried out on the issues arising at the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border," Guliyev noted.
It should be mentioned that the 86th meeting of the Council of Commanders of Border Troops of the CIS countries is currently taking place in Baku. Representatives of Armenia's border services are also participating in the meeting. The agenda includes a discussion on the situation at the borders of CIS member states and trends in their development.
