Boy Beaten by Republican Official Undergoes Surgery: New Details
The head of the communal department of the Talin enlarged community, Suren Torosyan, who assaulted a minor resident of the village, has been arrested shortly after the incident. This was reported by sources from Irakanum.am.
The incident reportedly stemmed from a gathering of Republican party members in Aragatsavan about a month ago, during which the minor stated that they were liars. Torosyan could not 'digest' this and attempted to force the boy into his car today. The child refused to comply, after which the Republican official blew smoke in the boy's face and struck him in the head.
It is noteworthy that a tense and explosive situation had developed in the Aragatsotn region last night, with numerous residents of Aragatsavan blocking the road in protest and preventing the movement of vehicles.
According to our sources, this is not the first instance of Suren Torosyan displaying inappropriate behavior in the village and threatening fellow villagers who do not vote for or support the Republicans. We also learned that the head of the communal department lacks a higher education and is now seeking to obtain one, supposedly to be appointed to another position in the future.
According to reports in the media, the boy has been diagnosed with epilepsy. It has also been mentioned that the youth beaten by the Republican official has undergone surgery, and doctors have stitched up eight wounds on his head.
