Service Investigation Launched Against Dilijan Criminal Chief

A service investigation has been initiated by the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs against Arsen Gaytmazyam, the criminal chief of Dilijan, regarding the assault of a 16-year-old boy. This was reported by Zardand Gabrielyan, the head of the police department's information section.

It is noteworthy that today, on June 1, a video circulated showing how Dilijan's criminal chief, Arsen Gaytmazyam, assaulted the young man in a restaurant-hotel complex. The incident took place on April 10.

Later, the Investigative Committee also reported that Gaytmazyam met with the victim and apologized, expressing his willingness to also apologize to the boy's parents. He fully understands and acknowledges that he exhibited inappropriate behavior and requested that public criminal prosecution not be initiated against him, citing a basis of genuine remorse.
