After Destruction of Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, 14,000 Homes Underwater, Nearly 4,300 Evacuated

After the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant dam, more than 14,000 homes have been submerged, and nearly 4,300 people have been evacuated, emergency services report, according to TASS.

Following the flooding in the Kherson region, 23 individuals have sought medical assistance, with 21 hospitalized, according to medical services.

It is noteworthy that on June 6, the dam of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant located in the Kherson region collapsed. Ukraine and Russia blame each other for the shelling of the hydroelectric plant.
