Russia's Security Council Secretary to Attend CSTO Meetings in Minsk
Nikolai Patrushev, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, will participate in events organized by the Security Councils of Russia and Belarus, as well as the CSTO, in Minsk. According to TASS, citing a statement from the Russian Security Council's press service, consultations between the agencies of the two countries will take place on June 7.
Patrushev is also expected to negotiate with Belarusian Secretary of State Alexander Wolfovich.
A meeting of the committee of Security Council secretaries from CSTO countries is scheduled for June 8. At the end of May, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev discussed the security concept of the Union State with Belarusian Security Council Secretary Alexander Wolfovich.
Earlier, Sergey Naryshkin, director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, stated that the relations between Russia and Belarus are indeed allied.
