Shoigu Calls Kakhovka Hydroelectric Plant Explosion a Terrorist Attack

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has announced that the Kiev regime has struck the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Plant to prevent the Russian armed forces from launching an offensive in the area. This information was reported by RT.

Shoigu referred to the Ukrainian actions as 'terrorism.' He stated that the operations at the hydroelectric plant have resulted in significant flooding of the surrounding areas.

It is worth noting that on the morning of June 6, the head of Nova Kakhovka reported strikes on the plant. Ukraine's Southern Operational Command stated that the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Plant was destroyed by Russian armed forces. In contrast, Russian media, citing representatives from emergency services in Kherson region, stated that the strike had likely been carried out by Ukrainian forces using the 'Olha' multiple rocket launcher system.
