It's Too Early to Say What the Results Will Be: American General on the Russia-Ukraine War
Although Ukraine is “very well prepared” for a counter-offensive against Russia, “it is still too early to say what the results will be,” an American general stated in an interview with CNN on Monday.
“They are in a war that is an existential threat to Ukraine’s survival and has greater significance for the rest of the world—in Europe, indeed in the United States, but also for the whole world,” said Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
CNN also reported that Ukraine has established a network of agents in Russia and is providing them with drones for attacks. Sources from the media highlighted that exclusively Ukrainian-made drones are used for carrying out diversions.
The sources also believe that the attack against the Kremlin in early May was carried out by pro-Ukrainian agents, who launched the drones from Russian territory. Ukraine has also developed effective smuggling routes to bring drones and their components into Russia, where they can be assembled locally.
