More than 80 countries to participate in Erdogan's inauguration
The inauguration ceremony of the President of Turkey, which will take place on June 3 at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, will be attended by 31 heads of state and 13 prime ministers, as well as many ministers and representatives from international organizations, including the Turkic States Organization, NATO, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. This information was reported by Anadolu.
Erdogan, according to official data, will take his oath at 14:00 in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey after receiving 27,834,589 votes, and his mandate will be presented to him by the acting Speaker of the Parliament, Devlet Bahçeli.
The ceremony will be attended by the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev; Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro; Bulgaria, Rumen Radev; Gabon, Ali Bongo Ondimba; Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoko Embaló; South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa; Montenegro, Jakov Milatović; Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev; Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov; Congo, Denis Sassou Nguesso; Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani; the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ersin Tatar; North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski; Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev; Rwanda, Paul Kagame; Senegal, Macky Sall; Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud; Togo, Faure Gnassingbé; Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow; Bangladesh, Mohammad Shahabuddhin Chuppu; and Guinea, Mamady Doumbouya.
The agency added that among the guests of honor are 13 prime ministers, including Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Libya's Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibeh.
The ceremony will also see representatives from eight international organizations, including the Secretary-General of the Turkic States Organization, Kubanychbek Omuraliev; NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg; and the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha.
Twelve countries will be represented at the level of parliamentary presidents, including Vyacheslav Volodin, President of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, and Ding Zhonglin, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China. The ceremony will also be attended by former German President Christian Wulff, former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder, former President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Derviş Eroğlu, former member of the Presidency Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegović, and former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt.
After the ceremony, the President of Turkey will announce the new government composition.
