VIDEO: Sounds of Explosions in Kursk Region, Ukrainian Drones Destroyed

Residents of Russia's Kursk region have released footage showing strong sounds of explosions. It is reported that air defense systems are presumably operational.

As previously mentioned, the governor of Kursk, Roman Starovoyt, announced the destruction of several Ukrainian drones. On the night of June 2, he wrote on his Telegram channel that the drones were shot down by the air defense system near Kursk, according to RTVI.

"We ask the residents of Kursk to remain calm; the city is under the reliable protection of our military. If you discover any suspicious objects, please report them to 112," said the regional leader.

Baza claims that Kursk was shelled during the night. The channel reported an "unknown object" that hit a five-story residential building located on Soyuznaya Street. Baza published photographs of the damaged entrance and an elongated object found nearby.

On the evening of June 1, Governor Starovoyt spoke about a drone attack in Kursk. According to him, the drone dropped munitions on a substations, resulting in a power outage in the village of Gogolevka.
