Belgorod Situation Will Not Affect Military Operation Progress: Peskov
The situation in the Belgorod region relating to gunfire will not have an overall impact on the course of the military special operation. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.
“No, of course, it cannot have any effect on the course of the military operation, but I am not authorized to say anything about its nuances,” Peskov said in response to a question about whether intensified attacks in the Belgorod region would influence the progress and geography of the military actions.
Earlier, Vyacheslav Gladkov, the head of the Belgorod region in Russia, reported that five people had been injured as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian armed forces.
