Azerbaijani Army to Receive New Weapons and Military Equipment: Zakir Hasanov

The Azerbaijani army will receive new modern weapons and military equipment, announced Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov during an event at the Azerbaijani army’s training center. Local media reports this news.

Hasanov stated that the allocation of 1 billion 105 million manats (approximately 600 thousand dollars) will provide the opportunity to acquire new modern weapons and military equipment as part of reforms being implemented in the army, aimed at strengthening the country’s defense capabilities and enhancing national security measures.
