Will the Violation of Tinted Car Windows Be Monitored with Minimal Administrative Intervention?

Today, at the initiative of the National Assembly’s Defense and Security Committee, members of the "Civil Contract" faction met with Minister of Internal Affairs Vahe Ghazaryan and relevant officials of the RA Police to discuss issues related to the tinting of car windows and transparency levels. This was reported by Radar Armenia.

During the meeting, the necessity for the continuous improvement of proper oversight in the field of road traffic safety was emphasized. The minister presented the existing legal regulations and the factual situation.

Taking into account the number of vehicles with tinted windows, the limited time available to address violations, and the impracticality of drastically changing application practices, the MPs proposed a solution to achieve the desired outcome through minimal administrative intervention.
