Moldova to Close Airspace for Two Days

The authorities of Moldova will close the country’s airspace for two days due to the summit of the European Political Community. This was reported by the press service of the government.

“In order to ensure aviation safety, all flights of civil aircraft, including unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), are prohibited throughout Moldova. Flight plans submitted to the Civil Aviation Administration will not be accepted from May 31 to June 2,” stated a message on Moldova's government Telegram channel.

It is noteworthy that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will also participate in the summit. A five-party meeting is planned between the Prime Minister of Armenia, President of France Emmanuel Macron, Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz, President of the European Council Charles Michel, and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
