A 15-Year-Old Child Dies in a Car Accident in Aragatsotn Province

A major car accident has occurred near the village of Sasunik in Aragatsotn Province, resulting in the death of a 15-year-old child and leaving another injured. This information was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

Specifically, today at 15:29, the crisis management center of the Aragatsotn regional rescue service received a call about the accident near the village of Sasunik, indicating that there was an injured person.

A firefighting and rescue unit from the regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene. It was discovered that a Mercedes vehicle (driver: S. Kh., born in 2003) collided with a parked Zil vehicle (driver: G. P., born in 1955).

“Before the rescuers arrived, the driver and passenger of the Mercedes were transported to the Ashtarak Medical Center, where the death of V. Kh. (born in 2008) was registered,” the report stated.

Rescuers deactivated the Mercedes vehicle and closed the gas valve.
