What is Russia Turning a Blind Eye to in the Face of Aliyev's Threats? - Vahram Atanesyan
Former member of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic National Assembly and publicist Vahram Atanesyan wrote on his Facebook page:
“On January 11, 2021, Ilham Aliyev was in Moscow. He returned and on January 15, for the first time, entered Shushi (by what route and with whose security guarantees?) and showed us the 'iron fist' from the office of the head of the Shushi administration.
On May 25, 2023, Aliyev was again in Moscow and felt unwelcome at the Eurasian Economic Union summit. He returned and on May 28, threatened us from Lachin, demanding the dissolution of state institutions. The key phrase of his speech was: 'Everyone knows that we can take any action there (in Artsakh).'
Russian State Duma member Zatulkin stated that if Azerbaijan joins actions against Iran, the West will turn a blind eye to the forcible relocation of the Armenian population in Artsakh.
What is Russia turning a blind eye to in response to the Aliyev's threats while carrying out any actions within its responsibility zone?”
