We Will Meet in The Hague: US Senator to Russian Authorities
Russian authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of US Senator Lindsey Graham following his statements regarding the Ukrainian war. Freedom reports.
Lindsey Graham has thrown down the gauntlet to the Russian authorities. “Here’s what I propose to my Russian ‘friends’ who want to arrest and try me for condemning the Russian regime as war criminals. I will submit to the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court if you do the same,” Graham stated.
“Present your best arguments. We will meet in The Hague,” he added.
The incentive for issuing a warrant for the senator was a video of his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during which the senator allegedly suggests that the death of Russians in the war is a successful use of American money. However, it later emerged that the video was edited, and in the full recording of the meeting, Graham's remarks about the death of Russians and the investment of money do not follow one another continuously.
