VIDEO: "The Smoke Has Ceased. Daily Soil Works Will Be Conducted," Says Areyan on Nubarashen Landfill

On Saturday, in the second half of the day, the fire at the landfill was completely extinguished. This was reported by the mayor's advisor, Kamo Areyan.

"The smoke has ceased. The work was conducted with mobilization of all the resources of the municipality and involvement of private resources," Areyan informed.

According to the mayor's advisor, the main resource used by the municipality was the Emergency Situations Ministry, with participation from 20 private companies.

"2300 truckloads of soil have been transported to the landfill. The fire is extinguished along the entire perimeter, but we continue our work; we have decided to bring in soil using trucks and to carry out daily operations at the landfill," Areyan added.
