Russia and Kyrgyzstan to Create Regional Air Defense System
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law ratifying an agreement on the establishment of a regional air defense system between the Russian Federation and Kyrgyzstan. Russian media report that the relevant document has been published on the official online portal of legal information.
According to the document, the joint regional air defense system of the two countries is being created to enhance air defense in the region.
The agreement was signed in Moscow on August 16, 2022, and is valid for a period of five years.
