Erdogan Remains in the Lead in Turkey's Elections
After processing 91.6% of the ballots in the presidential election held today in Turkey, incumbent President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has received 52.6% of the votes. This is reported based on data from the Central Election Commission, as stated by TASS.
Earlier, it was reported that after 89.81% of the votes were counted, Kemal Kilicdaroglu secured support from 47.28% of the voters.
It is worth recalling that today marks the second round of the presidential elections in Turkey. The main competitors are the current president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the united opposition candidate, Kemal Kilicdaroglu.
