Peskov: 'Western Involvement is Growing, but the Special Operation Will Continue'
Western involvement is increasing, but Russia's special operation will continue as the country secures its interests. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.
"It is clear that during this conflict, the involvement of the countries we call the collective West is growing every day," Peskov said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.
According to the Russian presidential spokesperson, this could prolong the conflict, but it cannot fundamentally change the situation. "Russia will continue its military special operation, and Russia will ensure its interests one way or another and achieve the tasks set before it," he noted.
Speaking about the limits of Western involvement in escalating the conflict in Ukraine, the Kremlin representative emphasized that this limit should theoretically dictate negotiations to the countries of the collective West, but unfortunately, this is not happening.
