Lavrov Responds to Kyiv's Threats Aimed at Putin
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has stated that Ukraine is a terrorist state, and the authorities in Kyiv present themselves as such. He made this comment regarding the threats from the Ukrainian side aimed at Russian President Vladimir Putin during an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin, which was published on his Telegram channel.
"This is a terrorist state. They present themselves in this capacity. I have no doubt that the puppeteers sitting in Washington and London are starting to think about how adequate these people are," Lavrov said.
The diplomat also expressed hope that sanctions would be imposed against Ukraine's leadership.
Previously, the Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Vadim Skibitsky, stated that Putin heads the list of key objectives for the agency. He also mentioned that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not undermine the Crimean bridge, leaving it for the Russian armed forces as an evacuation route. At the same time, he warned about plans to destroy the Mariupol port, calling it one of the main logistical support points.
