Official of the Authorities Involved in Drug Trafficking Process: NSS Revelation
According to the newspaper "Zhoghovurd", the National Security Service has recently been issuing a series of official statements regarding drug imports into Armenia. First, on May 13, it was revealed that 1 ton of heroin had been imported into Armenia, which is linked to the name of former MP Mihran Poghosyan. However, the wanted legislator claimed that they had uncovered the case and reported it to the law enforcement agencies.
As a result of the investigation, M.G., the head of the imports and purchasing department of the "Mrgeni" LLC, was detained, and yesterday the warehouse manager of the company was arrested. A few days after this announcement, the NSS reported that on May 18, they had planned to smuggle various large quantities of illegal drugs, as well as weapons and ammunition from the Islamic Republic of Iran into Armenia for sale.
It turns out that this story is far from over. According to exclusive information from the newspaper "Zhoghovurd", the NSS has made new disclosures regarding the drug importation process in Armenia. Law enforcement officials have established that prominent figures from the current political authority are involved in this case. The identities of these individuals will be disclosed in upcoming publications by the newspaper "Zhoghovurd".
