Nearly 5 Billion Drams of Services Provided Under the 'Outpatient Services' Program in Artsakh: Minister

On May 26, a joint meeting of the National Assembly's committees on social and health issues and financial-budgetary and economic management was convened. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh.

"The performance in the areas of social services, healthcare, and statistics was discussed:

1. The budget of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh was planned at 15.5 billion AMD for 2022, with a corrected plan of 12.598 billion AMD.
2. The total volume of medical assistance and services provided by the healthcare system in 2022 was 12 billion 598 million 709 thousand AMD, while the actual funding volumes amounted to 10 billion 907 million 246 thousand AMD, ensuring 86.6% of the adjusted budget targets.
3. For the year 2022, 375 million AMD was earmarked for the program of assisted reproductive technology, but after the annual plan was adjusted, this figure was reduced to 148 million AMD. A total of 133 referrals were issued, and 84 million 207 thousand AMD was financed for 65 beneficiaries of the program.
4. Expenditures on "Medical goods, devices, and equipment" amounted to 344 million 38 thousand AMD, with a performance indicator of 39.9%.
5. In the reporting year, medical services were provided under the "Outpatient services" group programs amounting to 4 billion 72 million 242 thousand AMD, while the "Hospital services" group programs accounted for 3 billion 513 million 945 thousand AMD. 1 billion 27 million 545 thousand AMD was allocated to the "Public health services" group, achieving 96.9% of the program.
6. In 2022, 15 private dental clinics provided services worth 308 million 895 thousand AMD, and 424 million 345 thousand AMD was financed for servicing the socially vulnerable population and certain special groups in the republic.
