"The Pontiff's temperature has risen sharply, and he has canceled the hearings scheduled for this morning," the Vatican announced without providing further details about his health condition.

At the end of March, Pope Francis spent a few days at Gemelli hospital, where he was treated for infectious bronchitis. In the summer of 2021, the Pontiff was in this clinic for ten days following intestinal surgery.
