Dutch Authorities Seize Property of Putin's Former Son-in-Law

The Dutch prosecutor's office has seized land located in the suburbs of Amsterdam, which belongs to Jorrit Faassen, the former husband of Maria Vorontsova, who is considered the eldest daughter of Vladimir Putin. This was reported by Pravda, citing The Project, the Dutch publication Follow the Money, and the British newspaper The Guardian.

According to Meduza, the property was previously owned by Putin's associates, businessmen Arkady and Boris Rotenberg. Faassen purchased the land for €450,000 in 2019 and decided to build a residential building and six office spaces there in 2021.

A recent acquaintance of the former son-in-law of the Russian president stated that Faassen had recently traveled to Amsterdam, but he was soon compelled to return to Russia as he began to attract the attention of Dutch law enforcement authorities.
