China Ready to Expand Cooperation with Russia
In the backdrop of deteriorating relations with Western countries, China is prepared to expand its cooperation with Russia following the recent G7 summit held in Hiroshima. This was reported by The Washington Post, citing experts in the field of international relations.
According to experts, the G7 summit highlighted the growing geopolitical divide between China and Russia on one side, and the United States and its allies on the other.
"China is ready to expand its cooperation with Russia after the G7 summit, as the central theme of the conference was not only the war in Ukraine but also the West-China relations and the position of the EU within that framework," stated a lecturer in international relations at the University of New South Wales in Australia.
