Celine Dion Cancels Concerts Due to Health Issues

Canadian singer Celine Dion has canceled her concert tour as she has not yet recovered from a serious illness she announced last year. The singer shared this information on her official website.

In December of last year, Celine Dion revealed on social media that she is suffering from a serious neurological condition, which has led to the cancellation of eight summer concerts scheduled for 2023 and the postponement of concerts planned for the spring of 2024.

"I’m so sorry to disappoint you again. I’m working hard to regain my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you are at 100%. Moving the shows isn't fair to you, and although it breaks my heart, it’s better that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to get back on stage," the singer wrote.

At the same time, she emphasized that she will not give up.

According to the website, the singer has canceled all her concerts scheduled from August 2023 to April 2024.

Celine Dion is the winner of Eurovision 1988 (representing Switzerland). In 1997, James Cameron invited Celine Dion to perform the song "My Heart Will Go On," which became the soundtrack for the film Titanic. This work won an Oscar (1998) and four Grammys (1999).
