Armenia Could Have Vetoed Azerbaijan's Participation, But Did Not: Vahan Babayan

Armenia could have vetoed Azerbaijan's participation in the EAEU summit, but as expected, it did not do so. This was stated by Vahan Babayan, the president of the Reformist Party, on his Facebook page.

Babayan remarked, "The assertions of Nikol about the Lachin corridor were like the voice of a barbarian in the desert, and it seemed that no one cared, 'let him talk if he wants to,' this was the attitude." He added, "The President of Russia, of course, emphasized that Russia has not changed its views and I think he made it clear that we are the ones who have changed our positions." He concluded with, "Let's wait for the conclusion of the trilateral meeting."

It is worth mentioning that yesterday a trilateral meeting took place in Moscow between Pashinyan, Putin, and Aliyev.
