KP Members Rush to Support Hero of the Day Hoovik Aghazaryan

According to the newspaper "Hraparak," following yesterday's commotion in parliament, members of the ruling party rushed to Hoovik Aghazaryan's office to express their support for the hero of the day.

It should be noted that during the discussion of the candidacy of Armen Danielyan for the Constitutional Court, Arthur Sargsyan, a member of the "Armenia" alliance, stated that in 2021, he lacked the courage to look him in the eye while issuing a detention order, thereby violating the law. In response, Aghazaryan allegedly shouted from his seat, "Shut your mouth, get lost, fall back in your place." Following his speech, Arthur Sargsyan approached Aghazaryan, but he was blocked by members of the ruling party, after which the parliament speaker called security personnel into the hall and forcibly removed Sargsyan.

After the incident, Aghazaryan explained his actions, stating that he was disturbed by Sargsyan's use of "masculine" language, and he simply asserted that the National Assembly isn’t a theater and that such tones should not be used. When asked whether he said, "Shut your mouth, get lost, fall back in your place," he replied, "Maybe I said it, I don’t remember," adding, "The National Assembly should not be turned into a stage for settling boyish scores; I made the remark to uphold the dignity of the Assembly." When questioned why he does not admonish his fellow party members who have repeatedly brought disgrace to the National Assembly and engaged in fistfights with opposition members, he stated, "If I see that there is a necessity, I do."
