Body of 17-Year-Old Girl Found Hanging from Tree in Tavush, Left Note for Mother

Today, on May 25, a tragic incident occurred in the Tavush region. At around 2:25 AM, the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report that there was a body hanging from a tree in a place called "Eghivniner" near a church in one of the villages of Tavush.

According to Shamshyan.com, police and investigators discovered the body of 17-year-old Syuzanna T. hanging from the tree.

As per the preliminary conclusion of the forensic expert, no signs of violence were found on the body during the external examination. A criminal case has been initiated by the Tavush regional investigative department regarding the incident, and a forensic examination has been ordered by the investigator.

According to G. Shamshyan's information, a note addressed to her mother was found with Syuzanna T., who had left home around 3:00 PM yesterday and had not returned.

Notification: A suspect or accused in a presumed crime is considered innocent until proven guilty by a legally binding court decision according to the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
