I Fully Share the Prime Minister's Opinions Expressed Yesterday: Speaker of the National Assembly

Yesterday, Nikol Pashinyan made several statements during his lengthy press conference that are directly related to the interests of Armenia and Artsakh Republics and the Armenian people. This was stated today, May 23, at the start of the regular parliamentary session by the secretary of the "Armenia" faction, Artvik Minasyan.

He noted that they demand immediate parliamentary discussions and assessments to be conducted. The opposition MP addressed the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan: "Considering that you are also the head of the inter-parliamentary commission between Armenia and Artsakh, do you find it possible to make those statements and the approaches deemed anti-state and anti-national by us, subjects for discussion in the upcoming sessions?"

Alen Simonyan responded that they can initiate hearings and proposed that they present the initiative, which will be discussed later. Artvik Minasyan remarked, "We have that opportunity, but practice has shown that the majority has consistently rejected that initiative. The parliamentary regulations allow the Speaker to present an extraordinary message, a draft declaration, which can serve as a reason for discussing these issues. My question relates to that, do you consider it possible or not?"

The Speaker of the National Assembly replied, "I repeat, come forward with an initiative, and we will discuss it. If you are interested in my personal opinion, I fully share the opinions expressed by the Prime Minister yesterday."
