Finally, the powerful bells of the Armenian Church have sounded, ringing calls for awakening and responsibility. In a few days, it will be MAY 28: the sacred day of the restoration of the Armenian state, when the cherished and preserved Armenian statehood of the Armenian Church was indeed transferred to the statesmen represented by Aram Manukyan and other selfless leaders.

The statement of the Supreme Spiritual Council of the Armenian Church is an unconditional message and mission for every Armenian Christian. Now is the time to witness through our actions our Christianity and our belonging to our dear National Holy Church.

Political figures and parties, all of you who until now have not been oriented or purposeful in your actions, the truth has now shone more brightly than the sunlight. Your National Church has reminded you of the existence of the Armenian state, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the national purpose, and the program.

Therefore, step out of the shadows, from behind screens, unite, and act in accordance with constitutional order and rights. Either you are as state-political leaders, or declare to the entire Armenian community that you are unable to lead, and the Nation will know how to preserve the Homeland and the national sacred values, aspirations, and vision. MAY 28 is approaching. Do we deserve such a lofty counsel?”
