Ukraine Has Nothing to Do with These Events: Podolyak on Incidents in Belgorod Region
Ukraine is closely monitoring the events taking place in Russia's Belgorod region, but it has no connection to them. This was stated by Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of Ukraine's presidential office, on the social media platform Twitter.
"The only driving force in a totalitarian country is inevitably the armed partisan movement," he wrote.
According to Podolyak, Ukraine observes the developments in the neighboring region of the Russian Federation and studies the situation. He also joked that "tanks are sold in every Russian military shop" and added that the underground partisan groups are composed of Russian citizens.
