Pashinyan on Russia's Failure to Deliver Weapons
During a press conference on May 22, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the statement made by Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan regarding Russia's failure to fulfill its obligations to Armenia, specifically concerning weapons supply. He noted that while the payment had been made, the weapons have not been delivered, and he was asked whether the money would be returned.
“I cannot make substantive disclosures about topics that are in the working process. It would not be appropriate,” Pashinyan stated.
When asked if Grigoryan's remarks were connected to the Prime Minister's earlier statement about having placed orders worth several hundred million dollars without receiving the weapons, Pashinyan succinctly responded, “Yes, it is related.”
