Former Turkish Presidential Candidate to Support Erdogan in Upcoming Elections

Sinan Oğan, a former candidate for the presidency in Turkey, has announced his support for the current leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the second round of elections scheduled for May 28.

In the first round, the politician received nearly 5.2% of the votes. Turkish media report that Oğan does not intend to support the opposition candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, as he believes Kılıçdaroğlu "defends terrorist organizations."
