The rise in product costs in stores has caused dissatisfaction among the population, noted The Financial Times. It was mentioned that food prices in the EU have increased by 16%, significantly exceeding the overall inflation rate of 8%.

During this period, the price of eggs has increased by about 23%, whole milk by 25%, and sugar by nearly 55%.
