Sexual Assault at Gavar Orphanage: Victim is a 15-Year-Old Girl

The Gavar division of the Armenian Police is preparing materials regarding a sexual assault incident. This is reported by shamshyan.com.

According to the photographer, information was received at the Gavar Police Department indicating that an 18-year-old resident of the Gavar orphanage had engaged in sexual relations with a minor girl from the same orphanage.

On May 19, officers from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Gavar Police found Narek P. on Tumanyan street in Gavar and transported him to the Police Department, from where he was presented to the Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of Armenia’s Investigative Committee.

According to reports, Narek P. confessed that from October 2022 to March 2023, he had sexual relations with the 15-year-old girl on three occasions.

Regarding this case, the materials prepared by the Gavar Police Department have been transferred to the Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
