VIDEO: F-18 Fighter Jet Crashes at Zaragoza Spanish Air Base

An F-18 fighter jet has crashed at the Zaragoza Spanish air base. This was reported on May 20 by the press service of the Spanish Air Force on Twitter.

“An accident involving F-18 aircraft occurred this morning at the Zaragoza air base,” reads the report. It is noted that the pilot of the crashed aircraft was able to eject and is now in a medical facility; his life is not in danger. The causes of the incident have not been disclosed. According to video footage, the fighter jet appears to fall close to a residential area and explodes.
