VIDEO: Homes and Roads Flooded in Northern Italy; Casualties Reported

Due to heavy rainfall in northern Italy, the Savio River has overflowed its banks, flooding homes and roads. This has been reported by the RT Telegram channel citing local news sources.

At least five people have died, and there are several missing. Nearly 5,000 people have been evacuated from their homes, and schools are closed.

Italian authorities have canceled the Formula 1 Grand Prix that was scheduled for May 21.
