US Will Continue to Support Stable and Just Peace Between Azerbaijan and Armenia: Biden

US President Joe Biden has stated that the partnership between Azerbaijan and the United States has contributed to the development of the region. “Together we fight against terrorism, take steps against the illegal trafficking of drugs, and prevent the spread of weapons of mass destruction. In particular, during the brutal war by Russia against the people of Ukraine, we were together in ensuring Europe's energy security. The United States will continue to support stability and just peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” the White House message said, in which Biden sent a congratulatory letter to Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Azerbaijan's Independence Day.

According to Azerbaijani media, Biden expressed hope that Baku and Washington would continue to strengthen bilateral cooperation, including in the fields of security and economy.
