Putin-Kadyrov Meeting Held in Pyatigorsk

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov in Pyatigorsk, as announced by the president's press secretary Dmitry Peskov. His statements were quoted by Interfax.

On May 20, Putin is set to meet with other leaders from the North Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), Peskov added.

Putin arrived in Pyatigorsk on May 19, where he held a meeting of the interethnic relations council. “After the meeting, Putin will stay in the region for one more day,” the president's spokesperson said.
