In the "Shengavit" Medical Center, four days ago, the brother of Aziz Aghajanyan, who was killed in the 44-day war, was born. This was announced on the medical center's Facebook page.

“Meet little Areg, the newborn brother of Aziz Aghajanyan who fell in the Artsakh 44-day war, born just four days before what would have been his brother's birthday, bringing a little joy to Aziz’s family amid their grief. As Aziz’s mother, Melanya Haroyan, recounts, Aziz dreamt of having a son and naming him Areg; the parents sought to fulfill their son’s uncompleted dream themselves.

Little Areg was brought into the world by the deputy chief physician of the "Shengavit" Medical Center, the chief obstetrician-gynecologist of Yerevan, PhD Rusudan Vardanyan, while his first doctor, neonatologist Lusine Grigoryan, assisted in the birth. Areg was born weighing 3,300 grams and measuring 51 cm. He is doing remarkably well and is already at home, bringing new light to their family.

Today is Aziz Aghajanyan’s birthday; he would have turned 22 years old. By God’s will, Aziz's little brother was born just four days before his birthday—a unique gift from parents to their son or perhaps the opposite.
