One of the Detainees Has Announced an Indefinite Hunger Strike in Support of Gayane Martirosyan

One of the detainees, Robert Movsessyan, has announced an indefinite hunger strike in support of Gayane Martirosyan, who is currently in custody. It is recalled that Gayane Martirosyan is accused of kidnapping Ashot Pashinyan, the son of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Movsessyan's application addressed to the head of the 'Vardashen' penitentiary was published on social media by activist Narek Mantashyan.

It is noteworthy that last night, the General Jurisdiction Court of Yerevan's Shengavit residence examined the legality of the arrest of Gayane Martirosyan, the mother of fallen soldier Zhora Martirosyan, who died during the 44-day war, and the petition presented by the prosecuting body for her detention.
