From now on, officials and their family members will be treated for free at the expense of our taxes. Anush Poghosyan, a representative of the NGO "Right to Health," announced this on her Facebook page.
She noted, "It is fair, my dear, it is fair... The government has made an 'unprecedented' decision. From now on, the President of the Republic of Armenia, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the National Assembly, and their family members (spouses, parents) will receive free medical treatment. The NGO representative pointed out that one of the most important provisions is that they will receive services without queuing and FREE, such as medical assistance and service provided using the latest and expensive technologies, chemotherapy, and so on...
"And it doesn't matter that today the waiting list for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has reached as far as November, that people are taking loans or selling their homes to buy chemotherapy drugs; the important thing is that our 'dear' officials and their family members can take advantage of all this whenever they want and for FREE.
PS: And I leave you with another unanswered question: When will you start thinking about the people?" she wrote.
It is noteworthy that yesterday, during a government session, a decision was adopted without discussion or reporting, according to which the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the National Assembly, and their family members will receive state-guaranteed free medical assistance.
