VIDEO: Titanic's First 3D Digital Image Created in 200 Hours
A unique 3D tour of the sunken Titanic. Magellan Ltd has created the Titanic's first 3D digital image. The ship's precise 3D reconstruction, located 3,800 meters deep in the Atlantic Ocean, was developed from over 700,000 photographs. Capturing these images required 200 hours.
Deep-sea exploration specialists hope that the 3D model will help answer the key question of why the ship, which was dubbed 'unsinkable,' sank in 1912.
