Ukraine Controls Less Than 1% of Bakhmut: Bild

Bakhmut is now 99% under Russian control, according to the German newspaper Bild, which adds that Russian troops are expected to take the city within a few days or even hours.

According to the publication, Ukraine controls less than 1% of the city's area—only one side of the westernmost street. The task of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is not to liberate or even hold the city, but to exclusively delay the Russian advance from Bakhmut to the west, the authors of the article state.
