If Yerevan wants peace with Baku, then why is it buying $100 million in weapons?
This statement was made by Azerbaijan's authoritarian leader Ilham Aliyev during a meeting with India’s newly appointed ambassador to Azerbaijan.
“A policy like that of Armenia could lead to new threats for the region,” added the head of state. It is noteworthy that Azerbaijan has allocated over $3 billion for military expenditures this year.
