Five Vehicles Collide Near Closed Market, Injuries Reported
On May 18, at 00:27, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting a traffic accident near the Closed Market on Mashtots Avenue in Yerevan, with injuries confirmed and requiring rescue assistance.
A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Yerevan Rescue Department was dispatched to the scene. It was found that the following vehicles were involved in the collision: a Volkswagen (driver: Zh. H.), a Toyota Vitz (driver: K. N.), a Toyota Corolla (driver: M. G.), a Nissan (driver: A. P.), and a Mercedes-Benz.
Injured individuals include I. G. (born in 1990) and M. G. (born in 1992), who were hospitalized at the “Heratsi” Hospital Complex, while I. G. (born in 1987) and G. K. (born in 1987) were taken to the “Erebuni” Medical Center. L. G. (born in 1993) was hospitalized at the “Saint Gregory the Illuminator” Medical Center.
Rescue workers have deactivated the vehicles and closed the gas cylinder valves.
