Tragic Car Accident: Driver Found Deceased Outside Vehicle

Today, on May 12, a tragic car accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 07:15, on the Dalara-Aygestan highway, in the administrative area of Aygestan village, two vehicles collided: an Opel Vectra driven by 76-year-old Israel A. from the Ararat region and a BMW driven by 28-year-old Garik N., according to Shamshyan.com.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the Opel, Israel A., died at the scene. His body was found outside the vehicle. The driver of the BMW, Garik N., initially received first aid from the emergency doctors of the Artashat medical center who arrived promptly at the scene, and was then transported to the Artashat medical center.

According to reports, due to the collision, both vehicles veered off the roadway, and the gas cylinder and the "glushitel" of the Opel were torn off, being thrown about 10 meters away.
