Ashot Pashinyan's Case Reminds of the Strange Encounter Between Lapshin and Vladimir Karapetyan's Daughter: Hohikyan
Journalist Nairi Hohikyan has addressed the recent incident involving Ashot Pashinyan, son of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, on his Facebook page. He attached an excerpt from his correspondence with Israeli blogger Alexander Lapshin, connecting the two themes.
“Looking at how Nikol Pashinyan uses his son in his dirty and blasphemous political games, putting even the parents of fallen heroes at risk, I remembered the strange acquaintance in 2021 between Israeli blogger Alexander Lapshin and Vladimir Karapetyan’s daughter, which raised questions even for Lapshin himself, who shared this with me,” he wrote.
Hohikyan pointed out that prior to meeting Vladimir Karapetyan’s daughter, Lapshin was contemplating whether to speak about Karapetyan’s statements regarding surrendering Artsakh and making friends with Azerbaijan and Turkey, or to fear the danger they posed.
“After that strange meeting with Vladimir Karapetyan’s daughter, Lapshin completely reversed his words, gradually renouncing what he had previously stated,” he added.
